More Pictures of Mason...

More Pictures...

So, we went to Emily's birthday party on Saturday (Calvin's niece). His brother-in-law, Joe, has a sister named Mary who took some AWESOME pictures with her DSLR camera. I put them in a slide show in hopes that the size will be condensed so you can see them. But let me tell you the camera makes such a huge difference in the quality of the picture! They are so clear, crisp, and real life! I LOVE THEM! I told Calvin he is going to have to invest in one of these! Perhaps he can go see Mary at Best Buy and she can help him pick one out.
Thanks Mary!

OH, sooooo close!

Mason is super close to starting to crawl. As you can see, he is almost up on all fours. It is only a matter of time before he is on the move!

MASON'S MOHAWK!

So, Mommy almost had a coronary when she saw the picture of Mason's hair. Miss Mindy got creative and styled his hair into a mohawk. I guess the process was somewhat therapuetic for the little guy. Daddy told mommy to chill out because she was still at work and thought maybe they shaved his head! Nope, just a new do :) Isn't he cute?!

Along Came Mr. Alligator...

So one of Mason's favorite song-play is :
Five little monkeys sitting on a tree, teasing Mr. Alligator, can't catch me...
Along came Mr. Aligator quiet as can be...
SNAP!
Four little monkeys sitting on a tree...and so on and so on :)
He LOVES this song and will laugh and laugh. Luckily, we got a hand-me-down alligator toy from Crisanne and Katy and Mason LOVES it!

A Melancholy Memory

So today is the one year anniversary of my auntie Sharon's passing away. Can't believe it has already been a year. She was a sister, a daughter, an auntie, a teacher, a friend, an angel. We miss her smiling face so much. Mason and I drove down to Glen Abbey today and put flowers on both her's and grandma and grandpa's gravesites. Both of them loved fresh flowers. I guess it hepls us to remember to treasure each day while we have it. We can't change it or do it over. And we never know when we'll not have another one.
Here's to all my friends and family...we love you!
